Pule Sanctuary Bukit Asah joins the Dhananjaya collection

We are pleased to welcome Pule Sanctuary Bukit Asah to the Dhananjaya Hospitality collection. The guest house sits in the green hills of Bukit Asah in Karangasem regency, East Bali, offering a quieter base for travellers who want to slow down and enjoy one of the island's least crowded coastlines.

A hillside setting in East Bali

Pule Sanctuary is set on a hillside along Jalan Raya Bukit Asah, close to the village of Jasri. Its buildings sit among trees and landscaped gardens, linked by stairways and pathways across the different levels of the property. The gardens bring shade, greenery and a sense of seclusion, and the hillside setting keeps the atmosphere calm. Photos of the property also show a swimming pool beside the villa-style buildings.

The coast is close by. White Sand Beach, known locally as Pasir Putih and one of East Bali's best-loved stretches of pale sand and clear water, is about a 19-minute walk away, and Bugbug Beach is even closer.

The rooms

The property has 14 rooms in a clean, contemporary style with warm wooden accents and comfortable bedding. Some rooms have one large bed and others have two beds, so they suit couples as well as friends travelling together. Each air-conditioned room includes:

• A television, a wooden desk with a chair, a wardrobe and bedside lighting
